Two Sides To Entrepreneurship

There is the beauty of being an entrepreneur. The praises of starting a business. The title CEO that rings like the shot heard around the world. There is the money, the material things and the prestige of being a entrepreneur. Being able to perfect the art of an entrepreneur and what it takes to be successful is a skill worth looking back at in reflection upon it's beauty. It's a beauty to be free from the 9 to 5, stubborn bosses, and the feeling of not knowing if you will be fired one day. Separating yourself is incredible.

And...

There is the beast in entrepreneurship. This is the side that nobody likes. I hate the beast side just like Muhammad Ali hated training. Who wants to call 50 businesses a day, send video emails, text, businesses walk-ins? Who wants to study different industries? Who signs up to hear "NO" more than "Yes?" Who signs up for uncertainty? The list can go on and on. The work of an entrepreneur is a beasty work. It is not pretty at all. There is so much digging to do, people to meet, and soft skills to develop to talk different language codes. The entrepreneur better be a beast themselves. This game has no emotion.

Now....

Real entrepreneurs really could care less because we are motivated to succeed no matter what the day may bring. We know that sooner or later, there is a harvest on the other side after all the years of hard hustle and grind.
